Offshore Grid Hollandse Kust (noord) - Documentation
The future grid connection 'Hollandse Kust (noord)' consists of one connection of 700 MegaWatt (MW). The offshore platform will be connected by cables to the high-voltage substation in Beverwijk. The offshore grid connection will be operational in 2023.
A permit for the development of Hollandse Kust (noord) Wind Farm Zone Site V (700 MW) will be issued by the Dutch Government. Offshore wind farm developers can apply for this permit via a tender procedure. The documentation below regarding the offshore grid connection serves as background information for offshore wind farm developers to prepare their bid.
NOTE:
The RVO website provides information about the tender and permit to develop Hollandse Kust (noord) Wind Farm Zone (HKNWFZ).
On offshorewind.rvo.nl you can find all available site data on soil, wind & water conditions and obstructions on HKNWFZ.

If the inter-array cables of site V near and/or cross 220 kV export cables of TenneT, a proximity and/or crossing agreement shall be agreed between the parties. For information purposes, TenneT publishes this model Crossing Agreement. The Crossing Agreement may be subject to any amendments that TenneT may deem necessary. A Proximity Agreement will – where applicable - be based on the same principles as incorporated in the Crossing Agreement, however taking into account the differences between a cable crossing and a situation where cables will be installed in each other's proximity.
